Welcome to Luminous Wombs LLC

Luminous Wombs LLC was created in 2018 by Doula Deomina (Dee) Martin. Doula Dee is a mother of one amazing adventurous 6 year old son. Her journey to assist in the birth world was something that she has always wanted to do. It wasn't until she had her own experience with the birth of her son that she decided to serve mothers and their families. After researching and realizing that her community was in need of support, Dee became a member of DONA international and is trained with a certificate of completion. To further assist her community, Deomina has established the Augusta Doula Collective. This collective will join the team of Luminous Wombs LLC to aid in supporting families who may not be able to afford birth support, while joining in the fight to decrease maternal disparities in the community.   

"Becoming a mother was just the beginning of greatness. I truly believe and support the importance of birth workers and the impact they can have on our local community. The village needs me! My vision as a birth worker is to create a peaceful atmosphere, while offering support and education to "MAMAz" all over the CSRA.” Deomina believes you should never give up on what was yours from the beginning."

Luminous wombs LLC services will include emotional, physical, and educational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum

• Upon contract signing and payment, email/text/phone support. (Ask about our sliding scale offered to all families)
• Sliding scale rate: $750, $825, $900
• visits: 3 to 4 
• ·Birth planning (home birth, hospital birth, including planned cesareans) 
•  Active birth support and facilitation of your birth vision, including comfort measures, movement, positioning, aromatherapy(non-medical), additional music and/or special prayers and scripture, or anything else that represents support to you and or as requested in your birthing room. 
• Create and maintain a peaceful and positive environment.
• Work with the staff and providers to establish rapport and to ensure that you have enough information to make informed decisions about your care. 
• Capture keepsakes if possible (photos, documentation) Birth story included
• Referrals for outside support
• Breastfeeding support
• Post-partum support (education on selfcare)
• Belly Binding 
• Lotus birth (herbs and placenta bag will be provided)
